The Howard University SBIRT Program Team specializes in the intervention and treatment of people with substance use disorders and assists individuals who may be at-risk. Our team of experts, utilize an evidence-based approach to screenings, which assess the presence and severity of substance use; and identifies appropriate levels of intervention and referrals to treatment. The team has a goal to increase insight and awareness, regarding substance use and motivating users towards a positive behavioral change.
